Your Instructor
Dr. Melody Stevens received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Masters in Physiology from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, CA in 2008. Prior to that she did her undergraduate training on the San Diego shoreline at Point Loma Nazarene University.
Her first job out of school was working at the prestigious Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA in their outpatient adult neurology and pediatrics department. This is also where she began specialized training in inner ear (vestibular) balance and vertigo.
In the years that followed she continued to grow her skills by transitioning into the home health arena and while traveling the central coast and other parts of southern California with her husband, before opening her own outpatient clinic in San Diego in 2012.
Her deep love of helping people from all walks of life and at all stages in life culminated in the founding of SuperiorKneeRehab.com in 2015 as a resource dedicated to helping people nationally and globally with high quality knee pain education and solutions for improving their lives.
Dr. Melody currently lives in San Diego, CA with her high-school-sweetheart, Matt, and their "boy", their 9 year old charcoal-grey cat. They enjoy traveling, both nationally and abroad, celebrating the diversity of culture and art, and are deeply involved in their favorite charity, Free Wheelchair Mission, who provides free wheelchairs to the disabled in third world countries.
